This project was about creating a design system using different books from library, reshaping their content into a new publication through a structured set of rules.
I chose protests as my visual system, collecting photographs mainly from the photojournalism section. Protests have always fascinated me - not only as political acts but as raw expressions of human emotion. They expose contrasts: unity and division, hope and frustration, peaceful resistance and chaos.
By bringing together images of different protests, I wanted to highlight these contradictions and the diverse reasons that drive people
to take a stand.
This project made me see books in a new way - not just as collections of information but as material to be broken down and reshaped into something new.
